"To be human is to need others, and that is no flaw or weakness.”- Dr. Sue Johnson

"Safe space" is a frequently used term in discussions about therapy and sessions. What thoughts come to mind when considering a safe space? Perhaps it's a place where one can be truly open and vulnerable, a space that encourages a fresh perspective, or simply a place where authenticity is valued. The concept of a safe space varies from person to person, but it consistently shares the trait of fostering a deeper self-understanding. Being in your "safe space" empowers you to engage in the processes of learning, unlearning, and relearning various facets of both yourself and the world that surrounds you.

As your therapist, my intention is to create and nurture this space for you. We will work to understand your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with openness and vulnerability, knowing that you will be met with empathy, understanding, and non-judgment.
